How to restart Windows periodically
As you know, restarting Windows in general and VPS in particular also helps the system be refreshed, operate more smoothly, and avoid lag. Today, Greencloud will guide everyone.
Step 1: Start Task Scheduler
– In the Windows search bar, select “Task Scheduler” and click on it in the taskbar.

Step 2: Set up a regular startup schedule
– Click the Action menu and then select Create Basic task.

– Choose a name for the task (e.g. AutoReboot) and click Next:

Step 3: Set time:
– Select Daily (if you want to restart every day) and click Next

– Enter the time you want to restart your computer, set the repeat to your liking, and click Next.

– Next, select Start a program and select Next.

– You click Browse to the C:\Windows\System32 folder, locate the Shutdown (.exe) file, and select Open. Add /F /R to the Add arguments (optional) and select Next.

OK, that’s it now your VPS/PC will automatically reboot on the date, time, and frequency you specified.
