How to set up a proxy with iOS/Android

Introduction
A private proxy server is a dedicated IP that is used exclusively by only one client at a time, mainly to hide his public IP address assigned by the ISP.
When it comes to proxies, there are a few different types of proxies one can look into:
- Residential proxies
- Datacenter proxies
Currently we are providing datacenter proxies.
Prerequisites
In this article, we will show you how to use HTTP proxies with iOS/Android.
1. iPhone/iPad/iOS:
- Open your iPhone settings
- Tap Wi-Fi
- Click on the Wi-Fi network that you want to add a proxy. This is usually the Wi-Fi network to which you are currently connected.
- Scroll down to the HTTP Proxy section
- Tap Manual
- Edit your proxy settings – type the IP address of the proxy server and port (default 36505). Turn on authentication if network IP is not whitelisted in the dashboard and add your Username and Password
- Tap back to Wi-Fi selection window. This will save your proxy settings
- Check the IP here: https://www.iplocation.net/
2. Android
- Open your Android’s Settings
- Tap Wi-Fi
- Tap and hold the Wi-Fi network name
- Select Modify Network
- Click Advanced Options
- Tap Manual
- Change your proxy’s settings -> type the IP address of the proxy server and port (default 36505)
- Tap Save
