#1 \u2013 Do a Normal Startup to fix The Dependency Service Or Group Failed To Start Error<\/strong><\/h4>\n
It might be possible that your VPS is set to start in Selective Startup mode or Diagnostic Startup mode. These are the modes to boot a VPS faster than normal. While starting in these modes, all the drivers and services do not start up with the VPS. This might be the reason for all the trouble you are facing with the network connection.<\/p>\n
You need to make sure that your VPS is set to boot with Normal Startup mode, and this problem will be fixed. Here are the steps to do so:<\/p>\n
Step 1<\/strong>: Open the\u00a0Run<\/strong>\u00a0box by pressing the\u00a0Win + R<\/strong>\u00a0keys on your keyboard. In the Run box, type\u00a0msconfig<\/strong>\u00a0and press the\u00a0Enter<\/strong>\u00a0key.<\/p>\n

Then, restart your VPS.<\/p>\n
After the restart, see that you are able to access the internet and not getting\u00a0The Dependency Service Or Group Failed To Start<\/em>\u00a0error again.<\/p>\n
#3 Modify Registry-<\/strong><\/h4>\n
Modifying the registry on your computer may solve the issue.<\/p>\n
But, before going ahead to the main process, we strongly suggest you create a backup of the registry on your computer. After opening\u00a0Registry Editor<\/em>, click on \u201cFile<\/strong>\u201d > \u201cExport<\/strong>\u201d to create the backup.<\/p>\n
If anything goes wrong you can retrieve your registry by simply importing the backup.<\/p>\n

a. Network Connections\r\n\r\nb. Network Local Awareness\u00a0\r\n\r\nc. Plug and Play\r\n\r\nd. Remote Access Conection Manager\u00a0\r\n\r\ne. Remote Procedure Call (RPC)\r\n\r\nf. Telephony<\/pre>\n
For all these services,\u00a0double click<\/em>\u00a0on them one-by-one and change their startup type to \u201cAutomatic<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n
Once you are done automating these services,\u00a0reboot<\/strong>\u00a0your computer to save the changes.<\/p>\n

#4 \u2013 Enable all the Network Services<\/strong><\/h4>\n
In order to fix \u201cThe Dependency Service Or Group Failed To Start Error\u201d in Windows , you can also try to enable all the network services of your VPS to start automatically. Doing so will start all the network related services to start automatically when VPS boots. It might be the case that these services are not starting with your VPS and causing the trouble.   • Remote Access Auto Connection Manager<\/li>\n

    Step 3<\/strong>: When you find any of these services, right click on it, then click on\u00a0Properties<\/strong>\u00a0in the context menu.<\/p>\n
